CAVA is the standard qualification for anyone assessing vocational competence in the workplace — the person who decides whether an apprentice or trainee has genuinely demonstrated a skill, not just talked about it.
The course covers how to plan an assessment, gather sound evidence, and reach a judgement that would hold up if someone questioned it later, using both direct observation and other forms of evidence.
